Spend three months becoming ready for real product engineering work.
A 3-month, full-time, in-person programme for graduates who already know the basics of full-stack development. You work in a real product-engineering environment — sprints, reviews, mentoring — under the direct supervision of Navneet Karnaani.
Strong participants are considered for a stipend-bearing internship phase with our partner, Indexnine Technologies Pvt Ltd.

Objectives
What this programme sets out to give you.
- You will spend 3 months working full-time in a real product-engineering environment in Pune.
- You will build practical delivery ability — not just conceptual familiarity.
- You will develop the working habits that matter in a team: ownership, communication, debugging, Git discipline, and follow-through.
- You will learn to work independently from documentation, references, and feedback.
- You will be considered for a stipend-bearing internship at Indexnine Technologies Pvt Ltd if you perform well.
- You will finish with a certificate of completion, and — if you do strong work — a letter of recommendation.
Non-objectives
What this programme deliberately is not.
- This is not a lecture-based classroom course. There are no daily lectures for every topic.
- This is not a job or internship guarantee. Nobody is promising you an offer.
- This is not a self-paced or remote programme. You are in the Pune office, full-time, every working day.
- This is not for absolute beginners. If you cannot yet build a small React or Node app with guidance, this is the wrong stage for you.
- This is not going to replace your own effort. You will still learn, still struggle, still build.
- This is not AI-assisted. Programme deliverables are done without Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT-for-code, or similar tools.

What you’ll work on
Three months of hands-on work in React, Nest.js, Node, MongoDB, and TypeScript. What sets this programme apart: you won’t just use these frameworks — you’ll build minimal versions of them yourself, so you understand what happens under the surface.
Arc 1 · Build
A real full-stack application
You will design, build, and ship an end-to-end web application using the stack the industry actually uses — React on the frontend, Nest.js and Node for the API, MongoDB for storage, TypeScript throughout. Not a series of tutorials. One application, owned across the full stack, extended week over week, reviewed like real product work.
Arc 2 · Understand
Minimal internals of the frameworks you use
Once you can use the stack, you will build stripped-down versions of it. Web Components and custom hooks that mimic React’s rendering and state model. A decorator-based router and DI container that mimic Nest.js. A JSON-backed store that mimics MongoDB. The goal is not to replace these frameworks — it’s to understand exactly what they do for you, and why.
Arc 3 · Deliver
Make it enterprise-ready
The final arc turns a working app into something you would deploy at work. Authentication and authorisation. Logging, monitoring, and audit. Error handling and reporting. Automated tests and coverage. Git and GitHub discipline, dev containers, CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Docker, and a cloud deployment. Iteration planning and task decomposition run through all three arcs, so you leave with the habits, not just the code.
Prerequisites
You do not need to be an expert. You should already be able to do most of the following before you apply.
Build
- Build a basic multi-section webpage with semantic HTML and CSS.
- Write simple JavaScript using variables, functions, arrays, objects, loops, and conditionals.
- Call an API and work with JSON responses.
- Understand basic React: components, props, state, and simple rendering.
- Read and modify simple Node.js code for routing, APIs, or CRUD logic.
Tools
- Use Git for clone, commit, and push.
- Use the terminal for basic navigation and development commands.
Work as an engineer
- Explain a small project you personally built and what part of it you implemented.
- Learn from documentation and feedback without needing step-by-step classroom instruction.
- Communicate clearly in English about what you built and what is blocking you.
Dates
- Applications close: 31 July 2026, or once all 10 seats are filled, whichever is earlier.
- Start: 31 August 2026.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time, in-person.
- Location: MandrakeTech office in Pune. In-person attendance is required every working day.
- Industry Preparation Phase ends: 27 November 2026.
Fees
First-cohort pricing. ₹75,000 + 18% GST. Total ₹88,500 payable upfront.
- Full payment is required within 7 days of the offer letter to secure your seat.
- There is no refund for the Industry Preparation Phase.
- Deferment to a later cohort is not offered for the first cohort.
What you will spend on top of the fee

The mentor
Navneet Karnaani has 35+ years of hands-on software engineering experience. He leads the programme personally, so you will work directly with him on code, reviews, and delivery discipline.
