Fighting AI ? We are destroying ourselves
Yesterday, my elder one came to me and mentioned he is ‘dumbifying’ his English language writing skill ( not the writing itself ), because the writing is incredibly being flagged as AI generated. And the teachers are not taking them in the right spirit.
Hey academitians and colleges, understand that you cannot fight AI. You are achieving the contra by fighting it. Better to teach these young adults how to make the most of it, and where to not use it.
Teach them to get feedback. Educate them about identifying arguments and its deviations. Help them learn where the engine will fake and they should stop and take over manual mode.
That is the skill they need. Not to manually do what our calculators have been ddoing for 50 years. But they do need to know where to apply the concepts. You are good at that. Focus.
