Learning and mentoring doesn’t happen as much in remote jobs as with local. Specially learning that is not related to “non-work” concepts, ideas and possibilities.

The Mentor, who would be at work and watching the areas of improvement, is missing from Action in remote jobs. Only Those early career professionals will feel that missing who are able to introspect, and see the career journey of the “elders”.

Question for these remote professionals:

  • Will you hire a personal mentor ?
  • If yes, why ? And what is the expected role, responsibilities, time commitment and cost that you are looking at ?
  • If not, why ? And how do you manage the above without one ?
