On the occasion of Guru Poornima, which happens to be on a ‘Guruvaar’ ( day of Jupiter, the Guru of the Deva’s), I dedicate this to all the people who have been instrumental in helping me become the person I am.

गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णुः गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः। गुरुः साक्षात् परं ब्रह्म तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः॥

Transliteration: Gurur Brahmā Gurur Vishṇuḥ Gurur Devo Maheśvaraḥ Guruḥ Sākṣāt Paraṁ Brahma Tasmai Śrī Gurave Namaḥ

Meaning: The Guru is Brahma (the Creator), Vishnu (the Preserver), and Shiva (the Destroyer). The Guru is verily the supreme absolute (Parabrahma). Salutations to that Guru.
