Love the narration. And the values that the author wants to highlight.
Always respect the decisions. No matter who takes it. Everything happens in a context. No one willingly takes a ‘wrong’ one. Heck, there is no such thing as a wrong decision. Only one in hind sight. And that can quickly change based on perspective.
Answer this question. If the parent has not taken the decision, and the author has not seen the reality that he did, would he be the person who he is today ?
So, always respect, and appreciate decisions. It takes a lot to take them, specially the hard ones.
