Trust, and mentoring

Trust, and mentoring

I found this article interesting, when i read it from the perspective of a mentor.

Without collecting the numerical proof, following my experiential gut feel way of learning, I have incorporated this in my mentoring process.

All my mentees are witness that I establish trust in the relationship at the introduction step, not later. And it does not wane at any point.

I have seen equal, if not better, results. The learning that happens and the questions asked show that they have left most of their peers behind.

The more important impact, for me, is that the methodology they see, will stay with them for life. In their professional lives, as well as personal.

Happy me !!
