What they don’t teach you” Course for Techies
I am looking forward to start teaching / mentoring students, in college / classroom setup, again. Something I did early in my career, when I was still in my Masters, and for a lot of years beyond that. Then life happened.
Please connect me with colleges / institutes that can use couple of hours of my time, every week.
I am looking at project mentoring, and visiting lectures on tools ( Docker, VS Code, Kubernetes ), industry best practices ( version control, code reviews, test driven development ), handling personal finance, peer pressure, FOMO, entrepreneurship, presenting ideas, etc.
Everything is on the table, other than university mandated marking and exam courses. Basic technology can be learnt online using Udemy or similar. But the philosophy around things that is read there is difficult to explain.
