A Gratitude Post
I wrote my first computer programme in 1984, when computers were not even common in India. Privileged, to be born in a family, that had the vision to let a child pursue his ‘want’. Turned out, its been my hobby, passion, job, career, life goal, giving back goal, and various other such terms used, as I progressed through life.
As I stand here today, in 2022, and look back at all these years, i have to thank my closest friends and mentors for setting the culture for me to internalise and build on.
My first mentors: My grandfather, Late Shri Ashok Karnani, and my father, Late Shri Madhusudan Karnani. From them I draw my values of honesty, loyalty, always be learning, fighting spirit, looking at the big picture, and never giving up.

Thank you for being part of my life journey, and helping me become the person I am.
I am also thankful to Shaila Shirwaikar Shaila Shirwaikar for giving me the opportunity to be part of the academic system very early in my career. It allowed me to build the habit of always be mentoring younger talent, and hence learn from them on the new age requirements. Has always kept me on the edge of my seat.
To this date, I try to always have a few passionate youngsters, interested in learning (and not a job), and assist them in fast tracking their learning. Possibly adding my life learnings to the mix.
Praying that God give me a long and healthy life, so i can continue doing what I am.
