Leverage people’s experience

Leverage people’s experience

Most people, who let their ideas die, or feel stifled at work, or are stuck and can’t grow, have two challenges:

  1. They don’t realise they are stuck
  2. They don’t know who to talk to

For (1), it’s difficult for anyone else to help because it come from listening and introspection. First stage. If you don’t recognise there is a challenge, you can’t find a solution.

For (2), remember that there is no shame in accepting that you are looking for ideas beyond your current experience or capacity. If you do that, you will realise that talking to anyone around you who has spent enough time with life, and is, in your eyes, a well wisher is so much easier.

Once you are listening, you will be able to receive.

When people see others as ‘lucky’ remember that those ‘others’ were listening and acting. Try doing it. It’s easier than you think.

Remember, you need to take yourself seriously.
