All decisions are contextual

All decisions are contextual

As I look around me, and the amount of content available, I get a feeling that we are probably losing the ability for higher level reasoning and only focusing on the “rules” that should be used to take decisions.

I believe people first need to realise that most decisions are “common sense” because they are based on the right thing to do in that situation. Everything cannot be absolute rules.

The more we look for solutions for our problems in other people’s lives, the more we lose the ability to look inside and identify the most “relevant” decision. No decision is “right”. It is always incremental. Keep building on your decisions.

This is what experience is about. Being able to differentiate the “rule” from the “context” and then applying the “right thing to do” to that.

If you are someone who needs someone to come in, look at your career/business/personal finance/life situation, understand the context, and ask the right questions so that you can make your decisions, reach out.

To me, or anyone you trust. If you pay for what you use, even better. Remember, time and experience is at offer. And you can’t get it, if it were not for that person.
